Why am I not receiving email notifications from LeanKit?

If you or other users are not receiving expected email notifications:

  • Keep in mind users should only receive notifications for changes made by other users; changes to boards, cards, and/or lanes will not be sent to the user who made the change.

  • Check your spam/junk email folders for the missing notifications.

  • Have your email administrator ensure that the following domains are whitelisted:



  • Try unsubscribing then resubscribing to the board or lane, then have another user at your organization test by creating or moving a card on that board/in that lane.

If the issue continues to happen, please let us know by opening a support ticket and we can troubleshoot the issue. Let us know which emails are not coming through:

  • notifications when Users are subscribed to Cards/Boards/Lanes?

  • notifications when Users are "@mentioned"?

  • Password reset emails?

  • All of the above?

  • Is it only one Board affected, or all Boards? All Users affected?
