LeanKit's step-by-step guide on how to set your Connected Card Cone Lane.
You can designate one lane on each board as the Connected Card Done Lane. Just like the archive lane, LeanKit uses the Connected Card Done Lane to calculate how many child cards associated with a work item have been completed.
You can designate one Connected Card Done Lane per board. Any card moved into this lane (and any of its sublanes) as well as the archive lane will count as done when calculating the proportion of child cards completed.
Note: There can only be one Connected Card Done Lane on each LeanKit board. Once this has been set, it applies to all parent cards that are connected to child cards on that same board.
Setting the Connected Card Done Lane
Go to the board where the connected child card(s) reside. Click the gear icon and select Board Layout Editor.
Once the board is in edit mode, choose the lane you wish to select as the Connected Card Done lane. Note that this lane must be a top-level parent lane. Click the gear icon located in the top left corner of that lane to open Lane Settings.
In the Lane Settings window, check the box Connected Card Done Lane and click Save. Then click Save again in the upper right of the board (which is still open for editing). This takes you back to the regular view of the board.
You can find more information about how to set up and use Connections here.
