LeanKit's step-by-step guide on how to export board history.
You may want to take data on board events outside of LeanKit for analysis. To do this you can export a board’s event history as a .csv (comma-seperated value) file which can then be imported into your analysis tool of choice to determine metrics like:
- What activities a specific user has performed
- The number of times that cards have changed
- The number of cards that have been moved through your LeanKit board
You can open .csv files with Microsoft Excel and many other applications.
To export the board history, first view it by clickingthe Charts icon in the upper right of the board and then clicking Activity Stream in the menu that appears.
This opens the Activity Stream.
Click the Export Board History button.
NOTE: Any filter set in the Activity Stream panel will not restrict what's exported in this file--it will include all Board History, regardless of the filter.
Then, in your operating system’s file saving dialog, choose a name and location to save the .csv file.
